Self-reflection does terrible things to a person. I've thought and thought about my place in the world and feel embarrassed calling myself Blacktron One. It sounds like something my 20-year-old self would think was cool, because it was. Perhaps it's recent events moving the train along or simply a result of my place in life but I've no desire to stay this way. It's been an inimitable 20 years of noise and experimentation, and although these records will remain here for people to discover, I feel that nearly 100 EP's in the last few years is enough. I spent years on Soundcloud practicing what this would become and I'm satisfied that I said what I came to say. I've learned enough about who I want to be in order to move forward. For the people that kept watch and supported me by buying records and so on, thank you. It's time to embrace everything I know and make the music I truly want to make. How different it will be to this is hard to say, probably not a great deal, but I want to spend both more and less time making records, not worry about where this might be going or what it could or couldn't be. I feel like the name has held me back and it's been on my mind long enough to make the change.

Thank you for everything. I'll post my new adventure soon when I've decided what it is to be. I hope you'll follow me all the same.
